Running kismet gives me the following output:
$ sudo kismet
Launching kismet_server: //usr/bin/kismet_server
Suid priv-dropping disabled. This may not be secure.
No specific sources given to be enabled, all will be enabled.
Non-RFMon VAPs will be destroyed on multi-vap interfaces (ie, madwifi-ng)

In /etc/kismet/kismet.conf I have:
source=madwifi_ag,wlan0,madwifi
$ lspci | grep -i
03:00.0 Ethernet controller: Atheros Communications Inc. AR5001 Wireless
Network Adapter (rev 01)
$ iwconfig wlan0

What am I missing here?
I googled for "unable to create VAP" but I didn't find anything that
solved the problem. Only questions from other people that have this error,
and no answers.
