We probably need more information. There doesn't seem to be any
package that provides that, but the underlying work was probably done
via dm-crypt or LUKS. What was the source of your script? I saw some
references here[1] and that specifies dm-crypt. Once you locate the
probable cause, you could google to see if any new bugs were filed
against the underlying package.

Sorry but I dont' yet do encrypted filesystems. :(
