Ubuntu 9.10 Beta Printing

It depends on the printer if it works out of the box. For a new HP 
printer, it was just plug the cable in and hplip did the rest. But with 
an Epson printer it wasn't that easy because that one wasn't well 
supported, IIRC (I was testing with a friend who has several printers 
and I don't remember printer models).

Anyway, if the printer isn't found automatically, try the CUPS 
interface. Point your browser at <http://localhost:631>. Use your own 
login and password when it asks for these data. If that doesn't help, 
please provide more detail like manufacturer and model of the printer 
and what you tried to make it work.
