glibc-profile

hi, all,

I am profiling my program in ubuntu, and I tried to link my program with the flag -lc_p.
The linker reports error and the glibc with profile support can not be found.

Does such library supporting profiling exist in ubuntu?

I am using ubuntu 8.04 LTS Desktop.
