GUI widgets for bash scripts.

Hello,

Before I did a re-install of Ubuntu, I had a package installed on here 
that gave advanced user interaction to bash scripts via GUI widgets.

I can not for the life of me remember what the package name is, and no 
search I try in Synaptic has been able to locate any packages with this 
capability.

Does anyone out there know of any packages that add GUI widgets which 
can be called from bash?
