No wireless in Ubuntu :(

I commented out all the static ip info in /etc/network/interfaces and
restart networking service. Then I did sudo ifconfig eth1 down. I am
sending this mail from wifi in Ubuntu. I hope it works with the other
networks I try. Thank you very much.
