Touchpad stoped scrolling after update in 10.04

Have you looked in:

     System --> Preferences --> Mouse
     click "Touchpad" tab

see if "Edge Scrolling" is checked.  If the OS is recognizing it as a 
touchpad these options should not be grayed out.
