Blackberry 8330 restarts when plugged into 10.4 via usb

Just an update:

According to this link:

a bug has been filed and a work around for the time being is:

     sudo mv /lib/udev/rules.d/85-hdparm.rules 
/lib/udev/rules.d/85-hdparm.rules.disabled

this work around worked with my BB 8330 on Aspire 7520.
