plugin for .wmv files

1.  My school district has opened a video wiki that uses .wmv files.

2.  I can connect to the site without a problem; but I cannot view the 
videos.

3.  When I click on the specific video, a dialogue box opens asking if I 
want to search for plug-ins.  I tell it yes.  It doesn't find anything.

4.  I've tried a manual search via synaptic but didn't find anything.

5.  I use Firefox as a browser on an Ubuntu 9.10 machine.

6.  Does anyone know of a driver for .wmv files that I can manually 
download?  I hate to have to switch to Windows (my school computer has a 
WUBI set-up).
