I use the Google services calendar and contacts and Thunderbird with
Lightning on my desktop (additionally I can share these information
with my wife). I read emails via POP but leave them on server when
downloading with my smartphone (I never used IMAP). I also have an
Ubuntu One account for data I don't want to copy on the microSD or I
want to have access to from other desktops, e. g. from office.
