Laura, just noticed an update today for xservers-xorg-video-intel:

* Drop debian/patches/107_disable_dri_on_845_855.patch:
+ This attempt to work around the crashes on i845 and i855
documented in LP: #541492 and LP: #541511 simply shuffled the brokeness
around. It hasn't helped enough, and it unconditionally disables 3D
which worked for some users before.
