Ubuntu 10.04 problems

Well, it is a confirmed bug. I can't get my WindPC into Gnome or X or
anything.........

It would have been nice to see it fixed but........its not. I think I might
need to downgrade to 9.04

I installed the Netbook Edition on my Asus 1005P last night, and it's
working. So I think the problem is more specific than "Intel graphics".

On my desktop, with AMD graphics, I didn't get past the bootsplash of the
Live CD last night, so that seems to be the same problem as Deon's.
I'm goign to give it another try today, with a fresh download and freshly
formatted USB-stick.
