Printing on a DVD.

When I suggested LightScribe somebody said it doesn't work well on 
Linux.  So, I guess if you don't have a
Windows machine,  you need Wine and then get the LightScribe Template 
Labeler and run it.  (I'm not too
proud to use Win 7 to burn LS disks.)  The Windows writer works really 
nicely.  Of course, if you're talking about
putting pictures, or color, on the disk, I   don't know, altho in 
Windows there might be something that will write
on a disk if you have a straight-thru path color printer.  If you can do 
that in Windows, there doesn't seem to
be any reason you couldn't do that with Gimp in Linux.
