Cursor crazyness in 10.10

This might be totally off the wall, but if you can get into your bios,
disable support for your parallel and floppy support, that will free up
those IRQ's which might eliminate your keyboard and mouse from sharing
the same one... if your mouse is USB, disable legacy mouse support as
well. In the past that cleared up audio clipping for me. If might be
worth a shot, if you're trouble shooting with a shot gun. Ric
