  Colour order from the cable into the connector is less important (but I 
would not violate it) than having the connectors pin out right, personally any 
custom cables I've made/run used the B schema.  Have alook at this URL, it

  This isn't a function of cabling so much, it's more configuration then 
applying the cabling correctly, and I'm not much help here.
