Installing Drivers for Lexmark 1200 Series Printer

Lexmarks have poor support under linux. Google shows some success in
older versions of Ubuntu using z600 drivers, but one such links says
that it worked in 6 and stopped working in 7, with lots of links to
articles in openprinting that are no longer there. Still, you might try
using the z600 driver and see if you can make headway, but it appears
that this printer just doesn't work with Linux.
