Don't sweat it. It's not THAT big of a deal. Top posting is popular on
Windows lists because that's where most email clients leave the cursor
when you hit reply. Just use your arrow keys or mouse to place the
cursor at the bottom of the reply before you start typing.
This is common in Linux because the archives are frequented more often
for advice. When someone else comes upon this reply, they'll read your
question first (at the top), then my reply (because it's bottom posted).
Windows lists will often not even include the reply text because the
archives are seldom searched.
What email client are you using? Outlook perhaps? It appears you're also
sending replies as HTML which is undesirable. If you don't have a
compelling reason for using HTML, it would be considerate if you'd
change your replies to use plain text. If you can't, your participation
is more important than the formalities. Welcome to Ubuntu!
