Sorry, but no, that's wrong. To change the subject in a thread you reply
(to list) and change the subject. Do not start a new thread instead.
Real mail clientis do threading following References: and In-Reply-To:
headers, not Subject: header.
Change Subject: header like this:
Subject: new subject (was: old subject)
Who replies to such a mail do remove the (was: ...) part. Intelligent
mail clients do it automatically.
