ubuntu MINIMAL-CD installation with archives from HDD

Hi, the minimal installation CD
does not work for me, because i
cannot download from the internet.
I need to get the files from my
harddisk drive. Mounting the
filesystem works by using the
command line shell.

Can anybody give me a hint?
>From the installation menu you can
only choose http or ftp server, but not
the local filesystem.
