Will this laptop be compatible with Ubuntu?

So far they have succeeded in making us feel inferior because we don't have 
windoze.  We have become afraid to mention Linux for fear of being ridiculed 
by sales people and support people alike for not being as intelligent as we 
think we are.  We need more numbers.

It could well be, but I can't see where our current method (that of thousands 
of Linux users NOT telling Toshiba to look at Linux) is working any better at 
producing the desired outcome.  Is that method working anyplace in the world?  
I'd think Dotan's method at least a bit of a squeaky wheel.  Sooner or later 
someone just might oil it!!
