Hi There,

Sorry I don't quite understand your problem. Are you saying you have
Ubuntu 8.4 or 8.10 and you want to upgrade to 9.04 or 9.10 without
reinstalled?

To upgrade your Ubuntu installation run "sudo apt-get install upgrade"
from the terminal you will upgrade. Easy a that.
