The first IBM PC I installed was around 1986 or 1987 I  think.  It had  
an Intel 8088 processor running at a wapping 4.7 Mhz and that's no typo!

So, you must be referring to the 1980s and 2 5.25" floppies and 16 KB  
of RAM.  BTW, those floppies were  SSSD 160 KB capacity!
