No problems with The Dredge (I wouldn't read it anyway), no problem
reading any article at Fox News, and GMail works as usual. Running
Ubuntu 10.04 with Firefox 3.6.7. 

I normally run Swiftfox (i686 version) and it runs so much faster in
it's response times to opening links and just all around performance. I
understand your frustration, but, maybe try an alternative until the
problem can be fully resolved? Once again, no problems on my end.
