Not sure how you wind up with FOUR Windows 7 parts, but maybe I can shed
a little bit of light.
My laptop runs Win7 Home Basic, Mac OSX Snow Leopard and Ubuntu 10.04.
I put the /home on it's own partition. The Snow Leopard install also
created an EFI partition. All told, 5 partitions.

If you're running factory installed Win 7, you've got a system
partitions and a recovery partition. Recovery partition enables you to
reset the computer to factory defaults just like the first time you
switch on. Can you safely delete this? Yes. You'll obviously lose the
reset to default option if you do. If you haven't already done so, you
should request the OEM disks from your vendor. Dell sent my Win7 and
Drivers disks when I asked as these were NOT included in the box.
The other 2 partitions? I don't know.
