Dual monitor - How to show a different application on each screen?

Hi all,

I have a Netbook running Ubuntu lucid Netbook Remix with an external VGA
plug.

I want to attend a trade show and I'd like to use the internal LCD for my
personal use (surf the web, manage the orders and so on) and use the
external VGA with a 22 LCD Monitor for looping my presentation.

How do I do this?

How do i make sure my private information won't show up on the external LCD?
