Yes USB wireless mouse and keyboard.  I plugged in a PS/2 mouse and 
rebooted the PC.  Still the same problem.
This USB wireless unit controls both the mouse and keyboard.  The 
keyboard works well.  A big question mark above my head!  Maybe it is 
BIOS.  I looked for mouse connection in the BIOS as to maybe adjust 
setting, but I couldn't find it.   I'll look for a BIOS update or 
upgrade..  Much many thanks for the reply.  Jim
