Hello,

I study in one of the big university and I don't know that all the 20-30
libraries
in the campus use either Windows or Mac but no Unix/Linux machines. But
all of our personal computers in the department use Ubuntu-9.10 now.

Many time, we need to display graphical applications in the library, but it
seems that I am unable to use "Putty" ( that is what all I know). I set X11
forwarding, display setting to localhost0 and clicked on agent forwarding,
still, I cann't get X display on Windows machines.

( Without using X windows, I am able to use Ubuntu machine remotely )

Can someone suggest, what I am missing ?

Second. is is possible to set up remote machine ( on windows) such that
you can work as if you are sitting in front of Ubuntu machine, with all
graphical windows, and applications ?
