Ubuntu Netbook Remix: Weird WiFi Problem...

Hi all,

I have an Asus EeePC 1000HE with Ubuntu Netbook Remix installedthe next time
it on it. Folowing a HOWTO, I added the StstusX repo for the
eeepc-acpi-utilities and the eeepc-tray.

Since then I get a lot better control over my Fn keys and event
notification, but I also got a strange problem with the WiFi card:

Every time I shut down the netbook, either by the Fn+F1 key combo or by
pressing the power button and choosing "Shut Down" - and turn it on again -
the WiFi card setting in the BIOS changes to "Disabled"...

I noticed this while trying to connect to my WiFi at home and I couldn't
find the WiFi option in the Network Manager.

Is this a software or a hardware problem?

I tried turning on the netbook, entering the BIOS, change it to "Enabled",
saving the settings and rebooting to the BIOS again - it stayed
"Enabled"....

Please help!
