1 Windows Partiton and 2 Ubuntu partition Help

If this ubuntu partition has the grub set to sda (mbr), erasing it will mess
up the grub, unless you have /boot on a separate partition and don't erase
that. How did you erase partition "completely" without messing with grub?

I think the best bet is to install ubuntu again with a "non-glitchy" copy
and make sure that you set grub to sda not (hd0,x).
A good idea is to make a boot cd of grub. It will come very handy for
instances like this and you can use that to boot up any OS, including
windows, on your computer. Just type this on a terminal...
grub-mkrescue anyname.iso
Burn that iso image to cd and you have that bootable cd.
