Ubuntu display problem

Dear all,

am using ubuntu 9.10 in INL 17  monitor 1280*1024 resolution , in the
morning when i starts the machine its loading in to 800*600 resolution. and
when i restarted its loading to 1280*1024 resolution. each and every day i
need to restart it is there any method to fix this problem??
