Hello Dotan and everybody else!

Now, it is more clear to me how also the "first video", you, Dotan, can play.
Till yesterday evening, the three video bottom video formats who were
being mentioned at the configuration panel of MediaPlayerConnectivity,
were INactive (UNchecked):
Flash
Wave/Mide/Au/Aif
Nullsoft Video.
In those circumstances, also the video you have difficulties with,
play at this machine.

Today, I actived (checked) those three options. After that, I tried
the video you had difficulties with: I had the same problem as you.
That's why, I UNactivated (UNcheked) them again.
Than I went back to that video. Result: that particular video plays
again. That's why, I have taken a more thorough look at the add-ons
and plug-ins running right now in and with Firefox at this machine.
Beside from MediaPlayerConnectivity, there is one more relevant
add-on: MediaWrap.
It's apparently this one which makes it more easy to work with "Flash"
videos. You can find it here:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1879

Plug-ins that are seemingly relevant, are these ones:
Divx Browser Plug-in - Gecko Media Player 0.9.8 Video Player
Helix DNA Plug-in: RealPlayer G2 Plug-in compatible
Gecko Media Player 0.9.8: plug-ins for RealPlayer, Quick Time, Windows
Media Player, Divx etc.
Shockwave Flash
And the already mentioned "VLC Multimedia plug-in".

Today, I discovered another useful Multimedia plug-in:
Embedded objects, https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5258

No doubt, there are several other useful ones.

Finally -for several multimedia situations, VLC and related software
seem to work. In other situations, other packages may be more
adequate. So far, I did not find one single package covering all
multimedia-needs.....However it may be, a certain degree of software
flexibility seems to be useful when working with multimedia stuff.

Respectfully yours,

Bas.
