[lucid lynx 10.04] I don't like the default theme.

I usually change it to a photo of my grand daughter, or my local cricket
team, so its doesn't really bother me.  What I miss more is the
spotlight bootsplash in Ubuntu 9.04.

Of course, placing the window buttons on the left is even more annoying.
Anyone know if this is going to be the default in Gnome 3?
