Option to use /dev values instead of UUID values

In addition, it makes for using a specific device, like a specific 
external hdd, for auto backup scripts.  It ids the drive and the OS says 
"oh, need to run a backup."  Ton of other applications can take 
advantage of this, say security "key" for a system.  There are pros and 
cons, and in the true form of linux you are free to choose how you want 
to do things.
