Lenovo Thinkpad Edge 13 0196 2RA with no CD

To Whom It May Concern

I have just got from my employer a brand new Lenovo Edge 13
0196 2RA with a pre-installed "You Know What 7" operating
system.

I am trying to make USB boot systems with no luck.
The first USB one is made with "usb-creator" and the
second one is made with with "grub" and a script
(booting ISO images).

I am able to boot to a desktop PC with both USB
systems. However, it does not work on the Lenovo.
The Lenovo detects the USB,  but boots to the
"You Know What 7" system.

Any clue?
