Thanks for your response.
I really dont get why Ubuntu is not shipping with the newest Alsa
version which is now 1.0,23. Most of all, 10.0.4 installs with 1.0.21.
The result is that my sound is broke and I need to run an update to the
latest version of Alsa and see if i can get my sound card to play
nicely:) I think the internal speakers are not going to be an issue but
more the jack. Sound in linux is just way too hard....
