created ?  Since you are having the issue with external SuperDrive, USB
stick and with version 9.10/10.04 and that we can safely ignored this issue
coming from the usb or superdrive and even the Toshiba hardware (since I
have the exact same model as you) and never had any KPs or freeze, I have a
feeling that it might just be coming the windows partition (again, not
sure). In the begining of the install, you are asked to format you
drive/partition. Can tell us what options you chose there ?
