In follow-up of my earlier mail, I have a problem with your hexdump as 
there are characters on each line which I think do not belong there 
especially the vertical bars in the beginning of each line and the ascii 
word on the second line "ldconfi| and on the third line  the characters 
         |g.|
I would thing the first ascii word on the second line is ldconfig (just 
as in your cat lines) without a dot.
Maybe you can mail the file to me in a personal mail as an attachment 
then I'm sure it is the right file.
