OK, it's also easily fixable by removing the three # characters I added
to the file :)

I already did that, as that page suggested. The UUID in the search
command was identical to that reported by blkid. That's why I did the patch.

Yes, I can see that if it works it's much better. The question is how to
get it to work?
Anyway, tomorrow I'll try what you suggested in your other message.
