Right click on a file with the appropriate extension and select
Properties. Select the OpenWith tab and click the add button to add
the application you want to use, if it is not already available.

I am confused now, are you talking about right click and select
properties, in which case you already know about the add button, or
are you talking about right click and Open With in which case there is
no Add button at the bottom, just Other Application.
