Ubuntu 10.10 bug w AC97 sound card

Thank you Jordan, I had wondered if that was the issue or not. Did Ubuntu
change from audio to snd between versions?
As for doing this change, I have no clue how so I will let the DSD
developer know so he can fix it.... better than me trying and messing things
up as I have no clue where to start or what to do!
