If one "googles" and clicks on the links found that reflect back to
earlier question/answer posts on ~this list~, then that would save some
time, getting an immediate hit on a resolution to a problem specific to
Ubuntu. That's been the whole reason for the top-post ban, so one can
follow an earlier thread easily. That is what sets us apart from the
marching morons of that other OS. What is there to loose respect for?
It's just plain courtesy for someone to check to see if the problem has
been resolved before and how, before asking here. Some people feel lost
and alone without their prancing pink unicorn in their sig, in this text
only format, but I can't help that. :) Ric
