Yes, but I refer you to other comments on this thread that were
admittedly more specific and useful than my poor memory.

When I installed U10.10 on my laptop, it was my first foray into such
efforts with Ubuntu, so not knowing what I was doing made it extremely
simple for me - everything just worked....
