taking a screenshot in ubuntu 10.10?

What do you mean by 'pre-maverick (dist-upgraded)' - Lucid or Maverick
beta, or what?

On Lucid I get a 'Save Screenshot' dialogue to name and where to save
the screen shot (default is 'Desktop').
