Actually that wouldn’t have been much use as Fedora appears to use Grub Legacy and not Grub2.  I don’t think Grub legacy can boot Ubuntu.  I think your best bet is to follow the instructions here https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Grub2#Reinstalling from LiveCD
