how to get a Brother MFC5460CN to work for network sharing

Hello there,

We have a Brother MFC5460CN here and we need to use it as a network
share but the drivers are not available when you set up the printer from
System/Admin/Printers. I know where the drivers are that are Linux based
but how do you get the network side to see thisprinter.  The printer is
a Samba share and Cups is able to see the printer fine and says that the
sharing is okay.
