I'll try to tomorrow on my 64bit system. If all else fails I'd just
extract the ppd and use that. PPD's are pretty much the same on any
system. In the interim - send off a note to Dell support and ask them...
you never know, they might have similar instructions to Brother printers
whereby they just adise to use 'sudo dpkg --force-architecture -i
<package>'.
