How to install TP-LINK WIFI ADAPTER on Ubuntu

A friend of mine has the TL-WN721N. I know it is supported with the 
Maverick kernel. But there is a backported kernel available for Lucid 
(10.04). You could install the package "linux-image-2.6.35-25-generic" 
which you can download from [1] if you can't directly use a package 
manager. I'm not sure if that package alone is sufficient but I can test 
the configuration with this kernel likely on monday evening (German 
time).
