Printer giving up silently since upgrade

It's the "service call" configuration. It goes away if I turn the
printer off and on again. It comes back if I try to print that file on
this computer, but not other files on this computer, and not that file
on the other computers.
The file, if anyone is wondering, comes from LaTeX with some graphics.
