Gwibber causes lag - bug or feature?

https://bugs.launchpad.net/gwibber/+bug/727132 This bug is reportedly 
fixed in a later version, though it's only available for Natty in the 
Ubuntu repos.

However, you can install the latest version of gwibber for older Ubuntu 
releases from the developer's PPA here: https://launchpad.net/~gwibber-
team/+archive/ppa
