On one of my 10.10 systems ls /boot shows
abi-2.6.27-11-generic memtest86+_multiboot.bin
abi-2.6.28-17-generic System.map-2.6.27-11-generic
abi-2.6.31-17-generic System.map-2.6.28-17-generic
abi-2.6.31-19-generic System.map-2.6.31-17-generic
abi-2.6.31-20-generic System.map-2.6.31-19-generic
abi-2.6.31-21-generic System.map-2.6.31-20-generic
abi-2.6.31-22-generic System.map-2.6.31-21-generic
abi-2.6.35-22-generic System.map-2.6.31-22-generic
abi-2.6.35-25-generic System.map-2.6.35-22-generic
etc.
But in Synaptic it only shows 2.6.35-22 and 2.6.35-25 installed. Why
might the others be there (left over from previous Ubuntu versions
possibly?) and what should I do about them? Just delete the files?
